Inwardbound co-founder Rob Ó Cobhthaigh is one of the pioneers of psychedelic-assisted therapy and psychedelic integration in Ireland and Europe. He has 30 years personal experience of altered states of consciousness and psychedelics, and has been working with ayahuasca for a decade.
Rob is accredited psychotherapist with IACP having graduated with a first class honours Graduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from TPTI (Dublin City University).
He is a graduate of the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) Post Graduate Programme in Psychedelic Assisted therapy and the Multidisciplinary Association of Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) MDMA therapy training.
He is an insured and accredited member of the Irish Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (IACP).
He is also a qualified Transpersonal therapist and Shamanic Counsellor having trained at the Irish Centre for Shamanic Studies for the past 10 years. He also holds a Certificate in Jungian Studies from the Jung Centre, and has trainings in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Internal Family Systems for psychedelic assisted therapy. Rob has delivered presentations at some of the leading psychedelic therapy conferences, including a keynote speech at Insight, Berlin 2021, and Breaking Convention 2023.
He specialises in the integration of plant medicine experiences/ psychedelic integration, and epigenetic/ transgenerational trauma. He also offer shamanic counselling for those wishing to deeply explore their inner worlds.
